Our collaboration with the French company Ceetrus started in 2014 with this large-scale project from Romania. Today, Ceetrus manages 23 shopping galleries, being at the same time known as one of the biggest real estate developers with mixt projects in the country.

Challanges
With an inclination towards innovation and custom services, we have contributed to the construction of a reliable and flexible communication network to serve the administration areas of the mall, as well as the partners operating in the galleries. It is well known the fact that commercial galleries, generally speaking, are subject to various changes during their functioning, and commercial spaces can be resized. On the other hand, the infrastructure had to serve also a WiFi network , but also a complex “people counting” system.
The result has been impressive: with only 11 communication cabinets interconnected by a FO ring of approximately 2.5 km in order to ensure redundancy, we have managed to serve the over 200 merchants, the WiFi network and People Counting which together count over 100 devices.

Stores are connected to the internet by specific sale applications, the mall’s management needs internet connectivity for specific software, clients also use for their personal interest or even for business purposes wireless internet (WiFi) offered by the mall. The digitalization, a new religion of the retail needs data communication and cabled local networks or high quality WiFi as it has been made in Coresi.
